1. Choose a low-cost zone. The lowest advertised entry points come from Sharjah and the northern emirates — SHAMS, SPC Free Zone, Ajman Free Zone and UAQ FTZ — with license-only packages indicatively from ~AED 5,000–8,000.
2. Go zero-visa (for now). If you don't yet need UAE residency, a license-only package is dramatically cheaper. Add a visa when you actually need one.
3. Pick a service licence, not trading. If you don't move physical goods, a service/consultancy licence is cheaper and simpler.
